On September 22, the "Future Hong Kong" Forum 2024 and the first "Future Hong Kong" Innovation and Technology Competition Award Ceremony were held at the Charles Kao Conference Center in Hong Kong Science Park. This competition is the first innovation and technology theme competition in Hong Kong for the mainland. It is hosted by the Hong Kong Federation of Science and Technology Youth, guided by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and supported by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Talent Services Office, the Office of Introducing Key Enterprises, and the Hong Kong Mainland Economic and Trade Association. Guests including Hu Shenglong, President of the Hong Kong Federation of Science and Technology Youth, Sun Yuhan, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Guo Yike, Chief Vice-President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Director of the Hong Kong Generative Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center, attended the event.
