Recently, the 2024 Beihang Shanghai Alumni Association "Xianghang" Gala was successfully held. Nearly 400 alumni and guests, including Tao Chong, President of Beihang Shanghai Alumni Association, Zhang Huiyuan, Director of Liaison and Development Office and Secretary-General of the Alumni Association, Ju Weihong, Secretary-General of Beihang Shanghai Alumni Association, Wu Hai, Vice President of Nankai University Shanghai Alumni Association, Zhang Bing, Chairman and CEO of XHOLO, gathered together to talk about the friendship of classmates and the development of science and technology.

During the event, Zhang Bing, chairman and CEO of XHOLO， as a representative of the 79 alumni, shared his experience of going to Japan for further study and returning to China to start a business as the third batch of public international students after graduating from Beihang University. In 1996, inspired by the compound eye of insects, she led the team to create a new path of naked-eye holographic technology by combining biomimicry with optical waveguide technology. In 2015, in response to the wave of "entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship" in China, she returned to China to start a business and completed the development of a new nanoscale optical material MOW-PLATE®. In 2017, Xianghang was officially established, starting to accelerate the process of product commercialization.
